Get ready for a truly hands on experience as the London Masturbating Marathon 2006 will take place in the capital this August.

The London Masturbating Marathon 2006, provisionally dubbed the Wank-A-Thon by Channel 4 for a special TV programmer which they will be screening, will see hundreds of happy Londoners getting their jollies in public all in the name of charity. Participants will be attempting to break the world record for continual masturbation. The current record was set in America and stands at eight and a half hours exactly.

The organisers of the London Masturbating Marathon 2006 are the San Francisco based Centre for Sex and Culture, which has run mass masturbation events in America for the past five years to raise money for sexual health charities.

The Wank-A-Thon will take place in Clerkenwell this summer and will see hundreds of men and women doing it for themselves and for charity. They will be sponsored for how many minutes they can masturbate for and how many orgasms they achieve. There will also be men only areas, women only areas and a comfort zone where contestants can spend time relaxing between sessions.
