Pattaya’s Tourist Police Division arrested a Dutch man aged 44 in Pattaya in mid December. He was the son of a prominent Business Owner in Holland, and the arrest was made following a complaint from his former Thai wife aged 31. Their relationship recently came to an end after the guy began a new relationship with guess whom? A transsexual girl!
It is alleged that with the assistance of his lawyer fake divorce papers were drawn up which contained a signature which the wife claims was not hers and was forged by her ex-husband’s legal team. The papers signed over assets totaling 60 Million Baht to the Dutch man, which was just under half of the value of their Estate worth over 130 Million Baht. However, legal ownership of the assets belonged solely to the ex-wife.
The local court approved the Divorce Settlement based on the papers which are allegedly fake. Following a complaint made to Police in Bangkok, further investigations determined the papers may have been forged and arrest warrant was then issued. The arrested man has been transferred to the Crime Suppression Bureau in Bangkok where further investigations are now underway.
